There is one story about Carlito the Crazy. Nobody knows if this story is real or not. When Carlito the Crazy was 12 years old, he was walking with his mother down a street in Silver City. Then they walked past a group of men in front of a saloon. A blacksmith who was one of the men called at Carlito's mother. She ignored it but Carlito picked up a rock and threw it at the man. The rock hit the man’s hat and he started to chase Carlito. But then a man named Moulton was holding on to the blacksmith so Carlito could run.
