I think that this photo was taken with an iPhone. I don’t know..I’m too lazy to check the exif data. If you want to, it’s probably still there.

This is a comp that I mocked up a long time ago. It’s all drop shadows and gradients. When I look at it now, the first thing that strikes me is its general “web 2.0″ aesthetic. It’s funny how times change.

For years, I’ve actively fought the compulsion to buy an iPod. I’ve done this for the following reasons:

• My music collection is mostly in Windows Media format (unplayable on the ipod).
• I don’t like the idea of having my music locked to one computer.
• The iPod doesn’t have an FM radio.
• I’m not too keen on the idea that I have to buy music only from the iTunes Music Store.
• It’s hard to use as a removable storage device.
• They’re just too damn trendy.

After mucking around with other players over the years, I’ve finally decided that it’s time for me to get a pod (I believe that the forecast for Hell tomorrow is a frigid -666 F).

I don’t really listen to music as much as I used to and to tell you the truth, my music collection is getting a bit stale so there goes my first reason for not getting an ipod. Couple that with the fact that itunes can automatically convert wma files into either mp3 or aac and the first reason doesn’t really have a leg to stand on.
