Hi! I'm Richard Lewis, an Associate Creative Technology Director at Nurun. I help with expanding digital business on the Citi, Red Lobster, and Humira accounts and helped to win Sheraton, Allergan, and AstraZeneca by showcasing the agency’s emerging technology capabilities.

I have spoken at Publicis on topics like conversational interfaces and immersive media. I've created a newsletter for introducing my colleagues to the emerging technology landscape as well as keeping them up to date on services that can benefit client business.

In 2017, I spoke at a Publicis GenNEXT roundtable event for junior agency employees and have developed lasting relationships with both former interns and employees.

I began my career as a web developer while studying for an M.S. in Integrated Digital Media at NYU's Tandon School of Engineering. While there, I decided to go to the Cardozo School of Law to study Internet and Communications Law with an eye to how communication policy affects marginalized communities.

After earning my J.D., I began working as a front end developer at Grey New York (because writing code is much more interesting than writing legal briefs). During my time there, I was part of the Grey Masters program for promising new advertising professionals, was promoted to Tech Lead, and was part of the team that won Bronze, Silver, and Titanium Cannes Lions for the 2014 Unload Your 401k gun control website.

Outside of the advertising world, I have served as a mentor at hackathons for both Doctors Without Borders and Code/Interactive and worked with RethinkLinkNYC on privacy and data collection issues. In my spare time, I can be found taking photos around Brooklyn.
